Julia Gordon is a passionate storyteller, and has been ever since she can remember. She has a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Michigan where she also achieved a minor in writing and worked as a research assistant at the Health and Retirement Study. She is now pursuing a master of science in journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She is interested in reporting on subjects spanning fashion, beauty, music, culture and sustainability, but overall, Julia aims to contribute to making journalism a more transparent, empathetic and dignified industry. If you continue scrolling, she will tell you a little more about herself.

Enough of the third person biography — I understand it’s efficient, but it’s weird, right? I have loved writing since the first time I remember putting pen to paper, or let’s be real, putting finger to keyboard. Writing is what I find most stimulating and rewarding, and I am eager to dedicate my life to storytelling, be that through journalistic reporting and editing, working with brands to enrich brand identity, or helping to increase engagement with publications through SEO practices. I love to tell stories and I love working with people who love to tell stories.
