The ask:
Create a follow-up spot for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s AFIB “No Time To Wait” campaign that positions the basketball star off the court, mentions all of his AFIB symptoms, and displays his journey to seeking medical attention.
The approach:
Abdul-Jabbar experienced life-threatening AFIB symptoms while on the beach, in the airport with his son, and at a baseball game with his family. Highlight his experiences in each of these settings to tell his story,
The insight:
Because AFIB symptoms come and go, they aren’t taken seriously. But the risk of stroke is always there.
My role:
I created seven scripts that were presented to the client and my work was considered for the final spot before going into production.
